Paddles
The beach ball paddles are handcrafted from natural woods such as lime, black walnut, and oak, and then sealed with eco-varnish. This protects the paddles against splashing water, allowing them to be easily used during vacation at the beach.
Signs of wear and tear are naturally unavoidable for a wooden sports product. We generally recommend treating the paddles accordingly. Our neoprene bag with an intermediate compartment is perfectly suited to prevent unnecessary scratches (often caused by sand).
As with all wood products, it helps to seal the Frescobol paddles with varnish or natural oil (olive oil, sunflower oil, etc.) on unroughened areas. However, this is only necessary for optical reasons.
EASY HACK: Sometimes, after intense use, some areas of the paddle can become a bit rough. In this case, simply rubbing with a strip of cardboard is enough to make the surface smooth again.
Balls
The red play ball is made of foam and is better suited for beginners who want to start with slower rallies and a ball that more easily forgives a lack of playing control. Due to its soft surface, the ball should not come into contact with sharp or pointed objects.
The orange play ball made of rubber is harder and is suitable for advanced players who value fast and hard rallies. Due to its material, the ball can be used in all environments. Due to its slightly higher weight, it is also the better choice in strong winds, for example.
